How to apply vinyl letter cut sticker
Vinyl Letters arrive as one piece, pre-masked, and ready-to-apply. There are only individual vinyl letters left after you apply the product to the window.
Before You Apply:
1. Clean the application surface with an alcohol-based liquid (such as Windex) to keep the area clean and dry.
2. Mark the position. Using a tape measure, measure the height and width of the vinyl, so that it can be centered across the window area.
3. Secure the vinyl to the window. The vinyl should be taped for measuring with masking tape.
Applying Your Flexible Vinyl Lettering:
1. Tape the entire piece (all 3 layers – wax paper, lettering and masking tape, masking tape-side down) to the area to which you would like your vinyl to be applied.
2. Start by pulling one side back, and begin peeling off the wax paper from the back. When you have peeled back a few inches of one side of the wax paper, flatten the masking tape and vinyl lettering (from which you have just removed the wax paper) down to the surface.
3. Next take a squeegee and begin flattening down the masking tape-side of the vinyl lettering. While you are flattening the masking tape down, continue to pull the wax paper from the back until you have flattened all of the lettering to the surface and completely removed the wax paper.
4. The squeegee should stay in direct contact with the masking tape layer on top of the vinyl as much as possible.
5. When finished, peel the top layer masking tape off to view the finished product.
